The Faculty of Law of the University of Debrecen and Hanoi Law University have concluded an agreement on academic cooperation. The pertaining document was signed by Dean Veronika Szikora and Vice-Rector Nguyen Ba Binh.

It was a Hungarian student of the Faculty of Law at the University of Debrecen, László Marjai, who won the Best Judge Award at the latest prestigious international labor law moot court competition named after Hugo Sinzheimer. A faculty member from the Faculty of Law at the University of Debrecen also served as Chair of the Organizing Committee of the event.
